An artist and designer creating original high quality pieces of art using traditional mediums. From The English Lakelands.

I’m Christina Jayne, I create art using traditional mediums such as oil, acrylic & water colour paints, inks & pens. Some of my earlier pieces of art have been inspired by nature & animals. I have used photographs of birds, animals & nature as reference in my art. Within my artistic journey I first started practicing the challenge of creating realism with the paints.

I then went on to using my artistic skills in creating realism in my paintings of historical reenactors. I used photographs of reenactors as reference to create the effects of reflections on armour.

Since then I have reached deeper into my creative visions & ideas inspired by fantasy, folklore & mythology. Creating pieces of art from my own concepts. I am also currently expanding into collaborating with musicians and taking a course in becoming a Certified Professional Album Cover Design.

I have always been creative, & at my home in the English Lake District I love to explore the mountain fells & lakes. A place where I often find inspiration to put into my creations.
